You may have heard the term “mindset work” before but just in case, it’s defined as “a framework for thinking, feeling and behaving that influences how you engage with your environment.” Pretty cool huh? Over the past few years I’ve been diving into my own mindset work to help influence the way I perceive and react to things in my life. And honestly, it’s been hard but amazing.
It’s helped me recognize toxic behaviors, my own black and white thinking and really expand my emotional intelligence. Simply, it’s made my emotional and mental world…better.
As I’m continue to work on a new offering for Runaway Alice Photography, I thought, why not weave this work into photo sessions? And here’s 3 reasons why:
It’s heartbreaking when clients LOVE my work but hate themselves in the photos.
I want clients to be able to love an experience without being worried about the outcome.
Photography is a healing medium and space for self reflection.
And the bonus fourth reason is just that this has helped me SO much that I genuinely want to share this work with others. I’m in no way a trained coach or therapist but I can share what has worked for me in the hopes that maybe it works for you too.
Stay tuned for more mindset work as part of your session experience!
