A couple weeks ago we headed up to New York to help my oldest brother get ready to move. We were incredibly lucky that that also meant getting to spend a little time at my sister in laws family cottage on Lake Owasco.
The cottage was a place of rest and reprieve on our travels during the Bowman Odyssey and it felt a little like coming home this year. It was also an escape from the Virginia heat. Owasco is a small little town and the lake is stunning. The Bug especially loved collecting rocks and shells, getting up to her hips in the dark water, and playing on the dock.
