It's pretty rare to do an engagement session in January. Why? Well, because it's pretty damn cold. Most people don't want to face the frigid weather but Gina & Brandon aren't most people. They're up for anything people. Brave the cold people. Coffee people. My kind of people.
With only a couple free weekends left before their April wedding we knew we better jump on the engagement photos quickly. Luckily we made some last minute arrangements to meet at Crabtree Falls off the Blue Ridge Parkway. It worked out beautifully! While, yes, definitely cold, we had the falls basically to ourselves. There is something absolutely glorious about the crispness of a clear winter morning. Brandon and Gina had no trouble cuddling close for the photos (body heat!) and I think they turned out amazing. More than anything I can't wait to work with these two amazing humans again in April!
