My Bare (boudoir) clients always blow me away. The ladies at these mini sessions were no exception. Their trust, honesty, and authenticity absolutely moved me. I had spent months dreaming about these sessions. Yes, I dream about half naked ladies. I was dreaming about light, mood, poses, and my biggest fear was failing to capture what these ladies were offering to me...which was their honest to God selves. I am nothing if not stubborn. Or determined to put it nicely. So when the weather called for icy conditions, we worked it out. Weather be damned! These ladies were right with me every step of the way and were so trusting. What meant the most to me though was the atmosphere of friendship and encouragement that was in The Hive that day. They rooted for each other. Something we ladies don't always do enough.
Each one of these women is breathtakingly beautiful. Each one is genuine. Each one owns who she is. Lets celebrate that.

I am so excited to announce that I will be offering Bare Mini Sessions on January 23rd at The Hive! These sessions will include professional makeup by Katelyn Comer from The Skin Studio, 30 minute photo session, champagne and strawberries (because why the hell not), 40 high resolution digital files, and a password protected gallery.
These sessions are about loving yourself. I am passionate about boudoir and the confidence that boudoir sessions can bring. These sessions are all about inner beauty and badassery. I want to show the real you. The sexy you. The goofy you. The playful you. Just you. I do very little touch ups to my images. If you are looking for airbrushed images, I ain't your lady. However, if you're craving a fun time, a time to pamper and celebrate all that you are, you've come to the right place.
Contact me today for more information and to schedule your session. Time slots are limited!
Professional Head shots are sometimes tricky I think. We all want to look professional, be ourselves, and avoid some of the head shot posing traps from the 90s (hello power suit!). When Renee asked me to update her head shots for her Real Estate business, I was absolutely flattered. We worked hard together to make these professional, approachable, and uniquely Renee.
First I have to take a moment to brag on Renee. Full disclosure, we're pretty tight. After all, I have photographed her family and kids multiple times, including the birth of her son Orion. So yeah, you could say we are close. I cannot say enough good things about this woman. I have watched her face multiple challenges head on with optimism, joy, grace, and determination including being a single Mom and raising two kids.
So when she told me she was becoming a Realtor I was overjoyed. I cannot think of someone better suited to find you a HOME. Because being a good Realtor is really more than finding a house, it's finding a neighborhood, it's working with your budget, it's thinking of your kids school districts, and it's shaping what you need to make a home during a very stressful time.
If you are in the Atlanta area, or about to move to the Atlanta area talk to Renee. You won't regret it and moving (whether buying or renting) is going to be so much easier with her helping you every step of the way.

Candoro Marble is a beautiful venue that originally was the showroom and office for Candoro Marble Company. When Jaimie said she was looking for a vintage backdrop for some soft and classic boudoir photos, I knew that this was the place. The beautiful show room, wrought iron gates, and slightly decaying rooms spoke of Greecian statues...it was perfect.
Enduring and beautiful boudoir (especially outdoor) has always been a passion of mine. I love helping women to be confident and feel beautiful. Boudoir takes a lot of trust, and when a client opens up and is vunerable with me in that way I am just in awe. I always strive to convey that moment with beautiful images, and it is an area of my work I am looking to expand.
Jaimie's session was so much fun! Her timeless features combined with her simple and sweet styling are absolutely stunning. Candoro has so much to offer as a backdrop that during our planning sessions we agreed we wanted to keep her look simple yet elegant, and let the venue do the rest. Here are a few of my favorites and proves that some of the most beautiful and sexiest images are not about baring it all.
In case, I forgot to mention it...Speed Racer and I are pregnant! We are having a baby and quite soon too I might add! Our little one is set to make its debut February 3rd, 2015. So between holidays and preparing for baby, the posts and updates may be few and far between. I appreciate your patience during this time, especially all of my clients who have already shown me so much patience and love! I cannot wait to share the next stage in our life with you as well as my photography career. Here's to the next adventure!
A special thinks also to Kayla with Kayla F Photography! I cannot get over my amazing maternity session with her and adore each and every beautiful image she took!
It's pretty rare that all the elements come together for a outdoor boudoir session. Weather, timing, a willing subject, and of course finding a secluded enough location to take the photos. But Amanda and I set out on a beautiful warm fall day for a beautiful boudoir adventure.
Boudoir sessions are close to my heart. They require a lot of trust, vulnerability, and openness. When a subject relaxes during a boudoir session, it is a huge compliment. But the main reason they are so close to my heart is that they are an amazing opportunity to show someone's true beauty, the kind that very few of us show to others.
So Amanda and I headed out on a hike, with a few outfits and a flower crown to make some magic happen. Amanda is so beautiful and I think these images did a great job of capturing her.
My favorite images of the day however, are the ones that we took in the lake. That's right you heard me. This girl got in a lake, in Fall (with maybe a little persuasion from yours truly).
There is something about water that is just magical to me. The first half of my life I grew up near the water and it still has a huge calling for me. Lately, I have been very influenced by Michelle Gardella. I love her work and think her River Stories series is absolutely stunning.
A tremendous thank you to Amanda for trusting me during our shoot. For going with my crazy whims and being up for anything...even freezing cold lakes. Especially lakes that are pretty gross at the bottom. It was a great adventure and you are such a beautiful woman. I hope the world can now see what I see.
Fall colors, woods, a pond, pumpkins, and a family owned farm...what's not to love about this engagement session? Early in October I headed over to Anderson County to Jodi's family farm for an afternoon of fun photos.
I knew after our first meeting, that Jodi and I were going to hit it off. Jodi is sweet and makes everyone around her comfortable. So when the time came, the day of the shoot, to meet Blake I knew he would be the same. Blake has a contagious smile and between these two we just kept laughing all day.
I loved that these two chose to be adventurous and get out on the pond in the boat. Even if it did have a small (tiny), leak in it. The whole day they were up for anything which is exactly what a photographer wants.
You can tell that family, history and heritage are all very important to both Jodi and Blake. Not only did we shoot on the family farm but Blake's family showed up to help out and Jodi's Mom provided a lot of the cute props. Blake plays in a bluegrass band and you can just tell with both of them that the area is very important to them.
Jodi and Blake I cannot wait to photograph your wedding next July! Thanks for being up for anything, even some of the off the wall things I asked you to do. I felt so comfortable with you both. Your love and respect for each other is apparent in every photo and I can't wait to experience that 100 fold on your wedding day!
For weeks and weeks you heard me talking about the Holiday Mini Sessions I was going to hold at Riverdale Elementary School. Well the day finally arrived and it was such a wonderful, fun day! I loved seeing all the cuties out in their holiday outfits as well as capturing so many fun family moments.
I had so many favorite from this day! I think everyone enjoyed playing around in the gym as well as being able to go outside thanks to the beautiful weather. Thank you to all my amazing clients for being willing to travel some for these mini sessions and for showing up for such a fun time. I will definitely be offering this again next year and am already thinking of different possibilities. Until then, I hope these help put you in the holiday spirit!
I'm not going to lie, I've been wanting to photograph this kid since before he was born. When I found out Heather was pregnant, I knew this kid was going to be sweet and adorable, just like his parents. So as soon as Brennan came into the world, we booked a session for when he was about 6 months old.
Unfortunately our first effort at a session got completely rained out. Not just drizzle, we're talking serious downpour. But that was okay, we waiting a month or so until the afternoon rains died off some and Brennan had mastered his sitting up a little more.
It was a really amazing day and I just loved spending time with this little guy. He's so laid back and just happy to be around! We've already got a Holiday Mini session scheduled with this cutie and I cannot WAIT to see how those turned out. Stay tuned!
I am super excited to be offering Holiday Mini Sessions this year! This is the perfect opportunity to get great family photos as well as those fun shots for Holiday Cards. Break out the tacky sweaters and hot cocoa! I will be offering a great holiday set up at Riverdale Elementary in Strawberry Plains. If you haven't heard of Riverdale, it's a historic building that has been restored by Connie and Wayne Whitehead and is now available as a photography venue. Its got a lot of character and I'm excited to be able to offer my clients a new location that we can use for Mini Sessions no matter what the weather is like. Spots are limited so please contact me to reserve your time slot as soon as possible!
