You can tell why people who visit Oregon in July want to stay there.  FOR-EV-ER.  It's a suckers month.  One that lures you in and tells you its going to be like this year round.  It's one that whispers to you to job hunt when you get home at 1am and shhh just don't worry about the volcano or earthquake of doom.

It was one of those perfect vacations for me.  I really needed a break from Mom life and a chance to just explore.  It was full of friends, tasty beverages, and beautiful views.  The weather was nothing but perfect.  It made coming back to daily life pretty tough.  I'm obviously still in love with it because I can't stop posting about it.

On a more serious note, I can't tell you how important it is for everyone: Moms, entrepreneurs, employees, EVERYONE to unplug for awhile.  Get into a new space.  Go somewhere new.  Turn off.  Give your kid to a babysitter and sleep.  You're better for it.  You're more you for it.  And for that I will always love my time in Seattle and Oregon.  If you ever are out that way, spend some time there.  Do it for me.  Do it for yourself.
